Financial Brokerage Group, a subsidiary of EFG Hermes Holding, on Thursday said that Ekuity Holding has raised its stake in Sixth of October for Development and Investment (SODIC) to 4.9% from 4.86%.
Ekuity Holding has purchased 150,000 shares at a value of EGP 2.3 million, or EGP 15.6 per share, the company added in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
It is worth noting that SODIC previously posted a 9.5% year-on-year increase in consolidated profits for the first half of 2018, recording EGP 374.09 million in profits, compared to EGP 341.5 million.
Total revenues hit EGP 1.05 billion in the six-month period ended June, versus EGP 1.17 billion in the prior-year period.
